Candidates can learn more about the bank’s services and culture by visiting mstreetbank.com.Role Description The Business Banker is a full-time position responsible for building and managing relationships with business and commercial clients. This position focuses on understanding the financial needs of small, mid, and large-sized businesses, recommending appropriate lending, treasury, and deposit solutions, and ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and onboarding new clients, conducting financial and credit discussions, referring business loans, commercial mortgages, C&I lending and coordinating with internal partners to deliver treasury management and payment services. The Business Banker will monitor client portfolios, manage risk, prepare and review documentation, and support clients with ongoing account maintenance and problem resolution. The role also involves participating in local networking, community events, and business development initiatives to expand MainStreet Bank’s presence in the region.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills, including client acquisition, portfolio management, and customer service.Candidates should possess knowledge of Treasury Management solutions and cash management services for business clients.Candidates should possess solid Finance skills, including financial statement analysis and have an understanding of banking products.Candidates should possess experience working with Small Business clients and an understanding of their unique banking and financing needs.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in commercial or business banking, familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, and strong communication and negotiation skills.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in banking or financial services.Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and use banking and CRM systems with proficiency.
