Group Risk Management oversees the implementation of ADCB's risk objectives, identifying and addressing gaps in the bank's risk infrastructure/framework. Their responsibilities include nurturing the independence of the risk function, establishing provisioning policies, and introducing changes to energise risk awareness among front office personnel and decision-makers. Continuously tuning the risk organisation in line with market best practices, they manage ADCB's portfolio and associated risks to international standards, while establishing a clear risk culture across all areas of operation.In this role, your key responsibilities include:To execute and embed ADCB’s KSA Business Continuity Framework (BCM) to ensure that ADCB KSA are prepared and resilient for any major incidents or business disruptive events, in accordance with Group Policy and business continuity good practices and local / international standards.Business Continuity Framework and Policy Development: Design, execute and embed the business continuity policy, framework, and standard operating procedures to safeguard ADCB KSA from major incidents or business disruption events.Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework : Recommend/propose and implement the ADCB KSA BC strategy by initiating business impact analysis with business units to identify business process risk identification and mitigation strategies following any major incidents Execute the KSA BCM Framework and BCM lifecycle in adherence to international standards and good practices to embed business continuity and organisational resilience.BC Plan Guidance & Support: Provide second line of defence support and guidance to business unit heads and BC coordinators, in developing BC Plans, in preparedness for disruptive incidents.BC Training & Awareness: Identify training needs, design and deliver training and awareness on BCM to employees across the business to promote a risk management and compliance culture.Business Continuity Framework Monitoring & Reporting : Create BCM metrics and obtain the data to measure and monitor performanceFormalise and execute the ADCB KSA business continuity plans followed by periodic tests and audits in order to validate the plans and assist business in ensuring their recovery objectives are met.BC Risk and Control Assessments: Review all new products, processes, procedures (old and new) and vendors in order to assess the BCM risks associated with each and recommend remedial actionConduct periodic BCM identification and assessment exercises in order to ensure that all risks facing ADCB KSA have been identified and addressed.Leadership Reporting: Deliver management & leadership reports on the status of BCM in order to keep internal stakeholders appraised of the status of BCM .People Management: Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance.Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation.Budget Management: Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB KSA delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation.Continuous Improvement: Identify, assess and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance organisational resilience and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects, leveraging BC good best practice and standards in the financial services industry.Customer Service: Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.The ideal candidate should have the following experienceMinimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of BCM Manager experience in corporate banking, retail banking or financial services sector, with a strong background of implementing and embedding business continuity good practices across the organisation, and in responding to major incidents or business disruptions.

Minimum Qualifications
