Business Data Analyst

Nutrosil Wellness is a growing wellness and nutraceutical brand focused on building high-quality, science-led products. We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who can help us convert business data into meaningful insights and better management decisions.About the RoleWe are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who can work across sales, e-commerce, inventory, finance, procurement and business operations.The person will be responsible for preparing MIS reports, analysing business performance, developing dashboards and identifying trends, opportunities and areas requiring management attention.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS and management reports.Collect, consolidate and analyse data from different business functions and platforms.Analyse sales, product, customer, channel and SKU-wise performance.Track e-commerce and marketplace performance, including sales, orders, returns, inventory, advertising and profitability.Prepare product-wise, channel-wise and customer-wise profitability analysis.Monitor inventory, stock ageing, slow-moving and non-moving products and stock-outs.Analyse purchase, procurement and operational data.Prepare target vs actual, budget vs actual and variance analysis.Develop and maintain interactive management dashboards.Identify trends, anomalies, inefficiencies and business opportunities from data.Reconcile data from different sources and highlight discrepancies.Automate recurring MIS and reporting processes wherever possible.Support management with data-driven analysis for business planning and decision-making.Maintain data accuracy, confidentiality and proper documentation.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel.Good understanding of Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data cleaning and data analysis.Experience with Power BI is preferred.Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot or DAX will be an advantage.Strong numerical and analytical ability.Good attention to detail.Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into meaningful reports and insights.Good communication and presentation skills.Preferred CandidateBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Engineering or a related field.1–3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS, E-commerce Analytics or Business Intelligence.Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, manufacturing or consumer products will be an advantage.What We Expect From YouWe are looking for someone who doesn't just prepare reports, but asks:"What does the data tell us, why is it happening, and what should management do about it?"The role offers an opportunity to work closely with the management team and participate in building the data and business intelligence function of a growing organisation.
