Crane Rental Clerk**Department:** Sales and Rental**Location:** Kingdom of Saudi Arabia**Sector:** Crane and Heavy Equipment Rental**Job Objective:** To manage crane rental operations from receiving the client's request to signing the contract and operating the crane, while achieving the highest possible fleet utilization rate and increasing company revenue.**Main Responsibilities:*** Receiving crane rental requests from clients.* Understanding project requirements and determining the appropriate crane type and capacity.* Coordinating with the operations department to ascertain crane availability.* Preparing and following up on price quotes with the client.* Negotiating price, rental period, and commercial terms.* Following up on the issuance of the purchase order and contract.* Coordinating with supervisors and operators to transport the crane to the site.* Monitoring crane operating hours and days.* Following up on contract extensions and monthly rentals.* Identifying new crane rental opportunities (100 tons, 200 tons, and other sizes).* Maintaining relationships with existing clients and acquiring new ones.* Preparing daily/weekly reports on inquiries, quotes, and contracts. * Follow up on rental receivables in coordination with the Finance Department.* Monitor the status of available and idle cranes and work to minimize their downtime.**Target Clients:*** Contracting companies.* Oil and gas companies.* EPC companies.* Factories and industrial projects.* Infrastructure and energy projects.* Main contractors and subcontractors.**Qualifications and Experience:*** At least 3–5 years of experience in crane or heavy equipment rental.* Good knowledge of crane types, capacities, and applications.* Experience in preparing quotations and negotiating.* Established relationships with contracting companies and projects in Saudi Arabia.* Strong communication and follow-up skills.* Fluency in English.* A Saudi driver's license is an advantage.**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):*** Number of new rental requests.* Value of submitted quotations.* Percentage of quotations converted into contracts.* Value of new rental contracts. * Crane utilization rate as a percentage of the total fleet.* Number of new clients.* Monthly rental revenue.* Contract renewal and extension rate.**Very important for First Success:**If your goal is for an employee to **proactively secure contracts** rather than simply an office worker handling rentals, the ideal title is:**Crane Rental Business Development & Sales Executive**
