You will identify target companies, research procurement signals (new CPO appointments, procurement job postings, open government tenders, company restructurings), and reach out to decision-makers via LinkedIn and email. You will work closely with the founder to qualify opportunities, prepare proposals, and support digital marketing activities.This is a high-visibility, high-impact role in a small, ambitious team. Your work will directly influence which clients EmpoweringCPO wins. You will learn the procurement outsourcing industry deeply and develop hands-on skills in B2B sales, market intelligence, and international business development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & ProspectingUse LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and qualify target accounts across the Gulf, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Singapore filtering by company size, sector, geography, and procurement hiring signals.Monitor procurement-specific buying signals: new CPO appointments, open procurement job postings, company restructurings, RFP notices on government tender portals, and PE-backed company activity.Build and maintain a structured, ranked prospect database with contact details, signal notes, company context, and outreach status using CRM tools or structured spreadsheets.Identify and track open RFPs and government tenders for procurement advisory and outsourcing services on portals including find-tender.service.gov.uk (UK), canadabuys.canada.ca (Canada), tenders.gov.au (Australia), and ted.europa.eu (Europe).Research and flag newly appointed CPOs, Heads of Procurement, and CFOs at target accounts these are the highest-priority outreach opportunities and must be actioned within days of appointment.Market Research & Database BuildingResearch target industries and geographies to build sector-specific prospect lists including manufacturing, facilities management, healthcare, mining, financial services, energy, and retail.Track competitor activity which procurement outsourcing and advisory firms are winning, what their propositions are, and how EmpoweringCPO can differentiate.Monitor procurement industry news, CPO moves, and market trends through Procurement Magazine, Spend Matters, CPO Rising, CIPS, and ISM summarise weekly for the business head.Research specific prospect companies in depth before outreach revenue, ownership structure, procurement maturity, recent news, and the specific business pain EmpoweringCPO can solve.Client Outreach via LinkedIn and EmailDraft and send personalised LinkedIn connection requests and InMail messages to CPOs, CFOs, COOs, and Heads of Procurement tailored to each individual's background, role, and company context. No generic templates.Execute structured email outreach sequences to qualified prospects personalised, signal-led messages that reference a specific reason for reaching out (new CPO appointment, open procurement roles, live tender notice).Follow up systematically track responses, log all outcomes in the CRM, and re-engage cold leads when new signals emerge.Prepare detailed briefing notes on each prospect before every discovery call involving the business head.Manage LinkedIn Sales Navigator alerts, connection requests, and engagement activity — warming relationships before direct outreach.What You Will LearnWithin 12 months in this role, you will have:Deep knowledge of the global procurement outsourcing market — who the buyers are, what drives their decisions, and who the competitors are.Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, outreach sequencing, and B2B digital marketing.A working understanding of the procure-to-pay process, spend analysis, and strategic sourcing — giving you a foundation to grow into a senior sales or consulting role.Direct exposure to international business development across the Gulf, UK, USA, and APAC — rare experience for a junior professional based in India.Mentorship from a procurement industry expert with global client experience.Required Skills and Experience1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales support, market research, lead generation, or a related role — preferably in a B2B services environment.Excellent written communication skills in English — you will write LinkedIn messages and emails to senior executives (CFOs, CPOs, COOs) in the UK, UAE, and USA. Your writing must be professional, concise, and persuasive.Proficiency with LinkedIn — or strong willingness to learn LinkedIn Sales Navigator quickly. This is the primary tool for this role.Structured, organised approach to managing large lists of prospects, tracking outreach status, and prioritising follow-ups. Strong attention to detail is essential.Genuine curiosity and research instinct — you enjoy digging into companies, understanding industries, and identifying the specific signal that makes a prospect worth contacting today.Comfort with ambiguity and self-direction — this is a small team. You will need to take ownership of your pipeline and proactively identify opportunities.
