It's a market to own.TAKON Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing commercial services company to hire a Hospitality Vertical Market Leader responsible for building and owning its hospitality business across Arizona.We're looking for someone who already understands the hospitality market, knows how business gets done within it, and has the relationships and experience to build a meaningful book of business.The RoleYou'll be responsible for developing business throughout Arizona's hospitality market, including hotels, resorts, management companies, ownership groups, and other hospitality organizations.You'll prospect, build relationships, open doors, navigate vendor and procurement processes, and position the company as a trusted long-term partner.This is a true business development role for someone who wants the freedom and resources to build a vertical, not simply inherit a list of accounts.What You'll DoBuild and execute a statewide hospitality business development strategyDevelop relationships with hotel and resort General Managers, Regional Leaders, Facility and Engineering teams, ownership groups, and management companiesProspect consistently and create new opportunitiesNavigate vendor approval, procurement, and preferred-provider processesDevelop relationships with multi-location and regional hospitality organizationsAttend industry events and build a strong presence within the Arizona hospitality communityManage opportunities from initial relationship through closeBuild a long-term pipeline of recurring and high-value commercial opportunitiesWhat We're Looking ForProven B2B sales or business development experience within the hospitality industryExisting knowledge of the Arizona hospitality market strongly preferredExperience selling services to hotels, resorts, management companies, ownership groups, or similar organizationsStrong relationship-building and networking abilityComfortable prospecting and creating business from scratchAble to operate independently and take ownership of a marketWilling to travel throughout Arizona as neededDirect hospitality industry sales experience is important. Experience in our client's specific service industry is not required.Compensation$140,000 base salary + commissionCandidates may live anywhere in Arizona.This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major vertical within a growing organization and build something substantial.
