Business Development Intern

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Large Scale Trial Management (Initiation, Execution, and Reporting)● Plan, initiate, and manage large-scale agricultural field trials across assigned regions.● Develop trial protocols, manage approvals, budgets, and vendor payments.● Ensure timely execution of trials through Occasional visits and on-site supervision.● Monitor trial performance and ensure strict adherence to approved protocols.2. Data Collection, Statistical Analysis & Reporting● Collect, validate, and analyze field trial data using statistical tools.● Prepare comprehensive trial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.● Maintain structured digital records of raw data, observations, treatments, and outcomes.3. Technical Documentation & Knowledge Support● Prepare and update technical documents, SOPs, trial summaries, and product performance reports.● Support data-driven documentation for regulatory, marketing, and internal reference purposes.● Ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance of trial documentation.4. Stakeholder Coordination & Field Support● Act as a technical interface between internal teams, research partners, and field experts.● Address technical queries related to trials, methodologies, and results interpretation.● Support internal sales, BD, and partner teams with technical insights from trial data.● Ensure smooth collaboration with local partners and Middle East stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS● M.Sc. (Agronomy) or M.Sc. (Horticulture), related to agriculture research community.● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field operations, agricultural research, or large-scale field trials, in roles such as Technical Officer, Field Officer, or Field In-Charge.● Mandatory experience working with Middle East–based agricultural or agri-input companies, with on-ground exposure to Middle East farming practices and field trials.● Proven hands-on experience in conducting, monitoring, and reporting agricultural field trials, preferably in arid or semi-arid conditions (Middle East climates).PREFERRED SKILLS● Familiarity with Middle East farming practices, climatic conditions, and regulatory environments, especially in Saudi Arabia.● Language proficiency in Arabic and/or Urdu is preferred to enable effective communication with local farmers, partners, and stakeholders.● Cultural adaptability and experience working with multinational and cross-functional teams in the Middle East region.● Ability to design and execute research trials, including treatment planning and accurate data collection.● Proficiency in statistical analysis (ANOVA, regression analysis, and other relevant methods)● Strong analytical and reasoning skills for data interpretation and decision-making.● Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. and statistical tools (e.g., R, SPSS, or similar)
