As our Business Development COOP Intern, you will support WePay’s growth by identifying potential business opportunities, building relationships with companies, and introducing businesses to WePay’s products and services.You will work closely with the Business Development team and gain hands-on experience in business development, partnerships, client communication, market research, and relationship management within the Fintech industry.Responsibilities:Identify and research potential companies, partners, and business opportunities relevant to WePay.Reach out to companies and potential partners to introduce WePay and communicate the value of our products and services.Support the development and management of business relationships and potential partnerships.Participate in meetings and presentations with potential partners and represent WePay in a professional manner.Follow up with prospective partners and maintain strong and professional communication throughout the engagement process.Assist in preparing company presentations, proposals, partnership materials, and other business development documents.Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, relevant industries, and potential partners.Participate in networking events, business meetings, and field visits when required.Maintain organized records of prospects, meetings, opportunities, and follow-up activities.Collaborate with internal teams to support partnership opportunities and contribute ideas that support WePay’s growth.Preferred Qualifications:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related field.Able to commit to a full-time, 6-month internship.Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Confident personality with strong presentation and public speaking skills.Comfortable communicating and presenting WePay’s products and services to companies and different stakeholders.Proactive, outgoing, and confident in initiating conversations and building professional relationships.Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, or a related field is preferred.Strong research, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.Fluency in Arabic and English.Why join WePay?Build from the beginning.
