Business Development Intern - Pharma

About AGEPHA Pharma:Join AGEPHA Pharma, a family-owned multinational pharmaceutical company with a strong presence across the EU, Middle East, and the US. We are looking for a Business Development Intern to help identify and engage potential partners and explore new growth opportunities across international markets.Your Role:As a Business Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical partnerships, external outreach, market research, and commercial strategy.A key part of the role will be proactively identifying and contacting potential partners, initiating conversations, following up on leads, and maintaining an accurate overview of ongoing activities. You will work closely with teams including Market Access and Operations and contribute to international projects.This internship is ideal for someone who is confident, outgoing, proactive, and comfortable communicating with new people by phone, email, or in meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential partners and new leads.Conduct outreach by phone and email and follow up on opportunities.Maintain and update the CRM / Excel pipeline.Support market and competitor research.Prepare presentations, partner profiles, and meeting materials.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments on ongoing projects.What You Bring:Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with external contacts.Proactive, hands-on, and able to take initiative.Well organized with good follow-up and attention to detail.Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Interest in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and international business.

Qualifications

A completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree is not required.Previous internship or project experience in business development, consulting, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, market research, or commercial strategy is a plus, but not required.
