Job Description

The Job role is to gain and develop business from new customers in order to exceed predefined targets set by the Management.The individual is directly responsible for volume/revenue/GP growth across all products in Sea/Air/Land freight.Main responsibilities:1. Business Opportunity DevelopmentConduct market research to identify potential clients, sectors, and trends.Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and grow the business pipeline.2. Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.Act as a point of contact to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently.3. Sales Strategy & ExecutionPrepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company goals.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.4. Market IntelligenceMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business strategy.

Job Requirements

Experience in business development in the freight forwarding industry.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Achieve GP minimum 3-4 times of your target salary.Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in freight forwarding Sales (Air, Sea & Express).Must have existing customer base from the respective market.An understanding of logistics operations and Freight industry, products & services.Valid Driving License is a must.Competitive Salary
