Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas and take ownership of outcomes in a supportive, design-driven environment.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Manjeri/Calicut. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the residential and commercial architecture and interior design sectors, including lead generation, prospecting, and building a qualified pipeline. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with potential clients, understanding their design and project requirements, preparing and presenting proposals, and coordinating with the design team to align solutions with client expectations. The role involves maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, managing follow-ups, and supporting negotiations to close projects. The Business Development Manager will also conduct basic market research, support brand-building activities, and collaborate on marketing materials and presentations that reflect the firm’s design capabilities and attention to detail.QualificationsProven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, ideally within architecture, interior design, real estate, or related industries.Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to understand client needs, present solutions clearly, and manage follow-ups and negotiations.Ability to collaborate with design and project teams to translate client requirements into viable project opportunities and proposals.Good communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in local languages relevant to Kozhikode is an advantage.Comfort with basic market research, pipeline tracking, and use of productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or lead-tracking tools, email, and presentation software).High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in an on-site setting.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in a client-facing commercial role.Interest in architecture, interior design, and the built environment, with a willingness to learn the firm’s design philosophy and service offerings.📍 Location: Manjeri/ Calicut 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time 📩 To Apply: Send your CV to career@cdco.in or apply via LinkedIn.
