Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to spearhead our revenue growth in the Saudi freight and logistics sector. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic expansion plans across enterprise and SME accounts, negotiate high-value contracts, and collaborate closely with operations to deliver seamless supply chain solutions. If you possess deep expertise in air, sea, and land freight, customs clearance, and account management, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and 3PL/4PL services.Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, perform accurate revenue forecasting, and consistently exceed quarterly and annual targets.Strategic Account Planning: Develop multi-channel growth strategies targeting key industries and geographic markets within the region.Client Engagement: Conduct needs assessments, deliver tailored solutions, and lead competitive bidding and RFP/RFQ proposals.Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Operations, Pricing, and Compliance teams to ensure service offerings are feasible, profitable, and compliant.Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing structures, and master service agreements (MSAs).Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts (such as ZATCA/customs updates) to refine market strategy.Relationship Management: Oversee client onboarding, ensure high retention rates, and represent the brand at industry conferences and networking events.Reporting: Deliver regular sales performance analytics, pipeline reports, and market feedback to senior leadership.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).Experience: 4+ years of proven business development or sales experience specifically within freight forwarding and logistics.Industry Expertise: Strong operational understanding of multimodal transport (Air, Ocean, Road), Incoterms 2020, customs clearance processes, and Saudi logistics regulations.Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Odoo, Salesforce) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); strong capability in pipeline tracking and data analysis.Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, executive communication, and relationship-building abilities.Languages: Business fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is strongly preferred.Mobility: Ability to travel regionally as required by key accounts and market demands.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary with an attractive commission and bonus structureComprehensive medical insurance for the employee and eligible dependantsAnnual return flight tickets to home country for the employee and eligible dependentsClear career growth opportunities within an expanding logistics network
