The person in this role will identify and develop new business opportunities with schools, coaching institutes, and other educational partners, while nurturing and expanding existing relationships. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting product presentations and demos, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to tailor solutions for clients, gather market feedback, and support the rollout of Extramarks’ learning products and services. The role also involves regular reporting on pipeline, market trends, and competitor activities, as well as representing Extramarks at events and stakeholder meetings.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and deal closing.Candidates should possess skills in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to support growth in the education sector.Candidates should possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with institutional stakeholders and decision makers.Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, sales cycles, and reporting requirements.Candidates should ideally have experience in edtech, education services, or related industries, with familiarity in selling technology-based solutions.Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.Candidates should be comfortable working in an on-site, target-driven environment in Saudi Arabia and be willing to travel within the region as needed.Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or additional regional languages is beneficial.
