The platform also creates new revenue opportunities and supports smarter business decisions for growing e-commerce companies.Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and managing a robust pipeline of e-commerce merchants, and developing long-term client relationships. Daily tasks include conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings; delivering product presentations and demos; negotiating pricing and contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders; and closing deals that align with company goals. The Business Development Manager will also analyze market trends, provide feedback to product and marketing teams, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems to support forecasting and reporting.QualificationsStrong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and deal closing in a B2B or SaaS environment.5+ years of experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or technology solutions, preferably in logistics, insurance, or post-purchase solutions.Proficiency with CRM tools, sales analytics, and basic data analysis to track performance and inform strategy.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and cross-functional partners.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in e-commerce, logistics, fintech, or insurance-related solutions is highly beneficial.Comfort with startup or high-growth environments, including adaptability, problem-solving, and initiative.
