Business Development Manager

Now hiring a Business Development Manager for a direct hire opportunity with an established manufacturer in Central Ohio!The Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting wholesale distributors and driving sales growth nationwide. This will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, customers, rep firms, and internal sales teams, managing the sales pipeline and forecasting activity, and executing market growth strategies.Responsibilities:• Develop and execute market growth strategies for wholesale distribution channels• Manage sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and revenue-growth objectives• Provide product support for distributors and their customers• Participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars, and other industry events• Work with marketing on campaigns, promotions, sales tools, webinar content, and website updates• Support responses to installation concerns, technical documentation updates, and customer inquiriesCandidates in Central Ohio are preferred to be able to spend some time in the Columbus office and manufacturing site, but any candidate near a major airport and open to travel will be considered.60% travel is expected with the Business Development Manager mainly travelling on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.Base salary range is $80-100,000 + commission (averaging $16-20,000 annually).Full benefits package included with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, company holidays, career development and advancement opportunities, and much more!If you are interested, please apply today!Qualifications:• 3–5 years of field/outside sales experience with Wholesales Channels required• Experience within building materials or construction industries is a plus• Experience with multi-state territories and travel• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% domestically
