AUS offers a professional environment that values technical expertise, collaboration, and long-term growth.Role Description The Business Development Manager leads the company's commercial growth by developing new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, leading client and commercial negotiations, and converting qualified opportunities into profitable solar and EPC orders. The role owns commercial performance from lead generation through contract award, while coordinating with engineering, procurement, finance, and project delivery to ensure offers are commercially sound and executable.Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, and negotiating commercial terms in line with company objectives. The role also involves market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with technical and operations teams to shape solutions that meet customer needs. The Business Development Manager will track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives.QualificationsMinimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in business development and sales, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing.Strong skills in business development, account management, and sales planning within energy, utilities, or technology sectors.Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify strategic opportunities in smart grid and renewable energy.Experience in preparing proposals, commercial offers, and contracts, with solid negotiation and presentation skills.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.Proven track record in meeting or exceeding revenue targets and developing long-term client relationships.Knowledge of the Saudi energy market, regulatory environment, and relevant industry standards is beneficial.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel.Professional fluency in English.Ability to work on-site in Riyadh
