LMG’s footprint spans Australia, with Bottlemart as its largest retail brand, complemented by Sip’n Save and Harry Brown.Role Description This is a full-time Business Development Manager role based in Adelaide, SA, offered on a hybrid basis with a combination of in-office and work-from-home arrangements. The role is responsible for growing and managing relationships with independent liquor retailers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving member acquisition and retention. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market analysis, presenting commercial proposals, coordinating brand and retail execution initiatives, and supporting retailers with business planning to increase sales and profitability. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to align marketing, insights, and operational support with member needs and to ensure consistent delivery of LMG’s brand standards. The role also involves regular travel within the region to visit stores, build partnerships, and monitor performance against agreed targets and KPIs.Qualifications Demonstrated business development, account management, or sales experience, ideally within FMCG, retail, or liquor industry.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate commercial outcomes.Experience in using data, market insights, and financial metrics to inform decisions, prepare proposals, and support retailer performance.Solid understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and brand execution, with a focus on driving sales growth and profitability.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse independent business owners.Proficiency in common business software (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) and comfort working in a hybrid environment.Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities across a regional territory.Relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within South Australia and nearby regions.
