Sikich is conducting an exclusive search for a Business Development Professional on behalf of a well-established leader in the multifamily construction industry.We are seeking a relationship-driven professional with experience developing business within the multifamily construction, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or MEP sectors. This individual will play a key role in expanding market presence throughout the Southeast by developing relationships with developers, ownership groups, builders, and general contractors.The title and salary is flexible and will be based on experience and background. Candidates with titles such as Director of Business Development, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar are encouraged to apply.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with multifamily developers, ownership groups, builders, and general contractors throughout the SoutheastIdentify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and project partnershipsExpand the company's presence across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North CarolinaAttend industry events, networking functions, client meetings, and project-related activitiesCollaborate with leadership to develop and execute growth strategiesMonitor market trends and identify opportunities for revenue growthServe as a trusted industry resource for clients and partnersQualifications5+ years of business development, sales, or client development experienceMultifamily construction industry experience requiredPlumbing, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or MEP industry experience strongly preferredDemonstrated success generating new business and growing client relationshipsExperience managing a multi-state territoryStrong communication, networking, and relationship-building skillsAbility and willingness to travel throughout the SoutheastLocation: Candidate can be based in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or North CarolinaTravel: Frequent travel throughout the SoutheastIf you have a strong network within the multifamily construction industry and are interested in a confidential conversation, we encourage you to apply.
