Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Western Sydney, NSW.About the role:The Business Development Manager's role is to grow the Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Transport, and Supply Chain business. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for achieving all budgets, targets, and key objectives by carrying out business growth strategies and policies, while promoting the company's total Supply Chain Solutions services and capabilities in a professional manner.Responsbilities:Prospect for potential new clients, and cold call as appropriate within the market and geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunitiesMeet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging professional networks Identify potential clients, mapping out the decision makers within the client organisationPerform market research and build relationships with new clientsCollaborate on pricing solutions and services offered to customersWork with team to develop proposals which address the client's needs, concerns, and objectivesAbout you:Industry experience in Contract Logistics/Supply Chain & Logistics/Transport/WarehousingProven track record in building professional customer relationships and business opportunities from new and existing customersExcellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present professionally to customers and industry professionals in one-on-one and group forum settingsStrong time management and planning skillsIf you feel you meet the abovementioned criteria and are interested in this opportunity please apply now or email your resume to Mel - people@nwprofessional.com.au
