This client-focused culture offers opportunities to contribute creatively and build long-term relationships in a growing design-led business.Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brisbane, QLD, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across sectors such as hospitality, serviced apartments, and aged care, while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and site visits, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating with internal design and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Business Development Manager will negotiate commercial terms, manage the sales pipeline, track performance against targets, and provide regular reporting and market feedback to leadership. The role also involves attending industry events, monitoring market trends, and contributing to sales strategies that align with SIEDITI FURNITURE’s design-focused brand and service standards.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and account management, with experience in B2B or commercial furniture, interiors, or related industries.Strong relationship-building and client engagement abilities, including stakeholder management, negotiation, and customer service skills.Commercial acumen with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets.Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate client needs into clear proposals and solutions.Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work autonomously in a hybrid environment.Comfort working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools, and basic reporting and data analysis for sales performance tracking.Knowledge or interest in furniture, interior design, or fit-out projects, with an eye for aesthetics and functionality considered an advantage.Relevant tertiary qualification in business, sales, marketing, design, or a related discipline is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
