Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur client is the leading provider of sustainable and technology driven Total Facilities Management in the United Arab Emirates.We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager Reporting to the Director- BD and will be assigned responsibility for managing the day-to-day BD activities in Dubai. The BD Manager supports all aspects of the business development lifecycle from leads and opportunity identification through proposal development by supporting specific pursuits and maintaining the infrastructure of the business. These responsibilities include a significant amount of coordination, collaboration, and timeline management in a dynamic team environment.This position requires a high degree of organization with the ability to engage with colleagues across departments and at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to support business development systems, processes, and pursuits. The BD Manager is responsible for maintaining the customer relationship management as well as generating new leads from different market sectors in the UAE.AccountabilitiesResponsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth.Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected incomeIdentifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted BD strategiesDevelops and delivers partnership ‘pitches’ for dealsDevelops and implements negotiation strategies required to win deals or renewalsFollow market developments, search for new product lines, and other revenue enhancing initiativesAttend FM industry conventions and networking eventsConducts site surveys and client visitsSupport team members to review solutions or allocation on tender submissions.Create cost analysis, if necessary, to oversee submission and bench marking if required.Collaboration with operations on the solution and allocationIdentify key factor of the tender documents such as SOW, KPI’s and SLA as well as client expectationsCoordinate with various sub-contractor's necessary or required for specific tendersBuilding business relationships with current and potential clientsUnderstanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)Collaborating with BD and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accountsCreating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings industry events and conferencesCreating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Zoho/ CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client informationCold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing processMeeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual BD goalsCollaborating with management on BD goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plansCompetencies and Experience University degree with further education such as an MBA preferred.Facilities Management related certifications is an advantageExperience in Sales and MarketingMinimum 5 years in similar field.With UAE Driving LicenseStrong Knowledge of Facilities Management servicesStrong knowledge of contracts and strong negotiation skillsPassionate for winningDriving innovationCustomer-centric solutions /CRMStrong cultural awarenessLeadership, management, and mentoring skillsStrategic planning skillsFinancial and business acumenExcellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesBig-picture thinkingStrong problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsOperates with integrity and team focusEnthusiasm and sincerityAbility to work under pressure
