Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue and company growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, clients, projects, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Generate and manage a strong project and client pipeline.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, upcoming projects, and industry opportunities.
- Collaborate with Estimation, Commercial, Technical, and Project teams to prepare competitive proposals and tenders.
- Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the UAE construction and engineering market.
- Track business development activities, targets, opportunities, and conversion rates.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the construction, contracting, engineering consultancy, retail, property development or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE construction and development market.
- Established network of clients, consultants, developers, contractors, or relevant industry contacts.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and convert opportunities into projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Commercially driven with strong understanding of project opportunities and market dynamics.
- UAE experience is highly preferred.
