Business Development Manager - Electrical Trading

Position Title : Sales Engineer / BDM / BDE - Electrical Cables & AccessoriesAbout the RoleThe Client is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Executive/Manager with 5–7 years of experience in the UAE electrical trading industry, particularly in electrical cables and cable accessories.The ideal candidate should have a strong network among electrical traders, distributors and retail shops, a proven track record of generating profitable sales, and strong ownership of customer collections.We are looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term career with the company and developing customer relationships over the long term.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with electrical traders, distributors and key customers across the UAE.Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.Promote and sell electrical cables and cable accessories, including cable glands, lugs, cable ties and related products.Regularly visit customers, understand their requirements and generate enquiries and orders.Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross-profit targets.Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and identify new business opportunities.Take ownership of customer collections and outstanding payments.Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain a healthy customer portfolio.Ensure sales are made within approved credit limits and payment terms.Coordinate with sales support, purchasing, logistics and accounts teams for smooth order execution.Monitor market prices, competitor activity and customer buying patterns.Provide regular reports on sales, collections, customer visits and market opportunities.
