Job Description – Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding)Location: Dammam, Saudi ArabiaExperience: 3+ yearsJoining: Immediate Joiner preferredJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding to drive new business, develop customer relationships, and achieve sales targets in the Dammam/Eastern Province market.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.Generate leads and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market visits.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.Promote sea freight, air freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics solutions.Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities.Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Conduct regular customer visits and understand their logistics requirements.Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to provide competitive and efficient solutions.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit regular sales reports to management.Follow up on RFQs, tenders, quotations, and customer inquiries.Ensure customer satisfaction and develop long-term business relationships.Requirements3+ years of experience in business development/sales within freight forwarding or logistics.Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics services.Proven ability to generate new customers and achieve sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong network of customers in Dammam/Eastern Province is an advantage.Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.Saudi market experience is preferred.Immediate joiners are highly preferred.Key SkillsFreight Forwarding | Business Development | Sales | Customer Acquisition | Sea Freight | Air Freight | Land Freight | Logistics | Negotiation | Client Relationship Management | Lead Generation | Sales Target AchievementDrop your cv -hr1@dslgroup.ae
