Business Development Manager - Italy & Middle East Projects

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.Role Overview:The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and expanding JAS project logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain business with Italian companies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct customer, prospect, and sales visits throughout Italy and across the Middle East region.Develop, manage, and grow Italian OEM, EPC, industrial, and project-related accounts.Build and maintain a pipeline of Italian companies with export, import, project cargo, and supply chain requirements in the Middle East.Prepare quotations, coordinate with the pricing department, and develop competitive commercial proposals.Coordinate closely between JAS Italy and JAS Middle East to develop customers, share leads, align account plans, and ensure smooth operational execution.Support Italian project clients across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, and other Middle East markets while being based in Dubai and traveling extensively throughout the region.Maintain accurate customer records, visit reports, opportunity pipelines, CRM data, and sales forecasts.Follow up on quotations and leads, convert opportunities into new business, and support account retention and growth.Represent JAS at trade fairs, customer events, industry meetings, conferences, and business development activities.Qualifications & Experience:2+ years experience in project logistics or freight forwarding.Experience with OEM, EPC and industrial customers.Strong commercial and project cargo knowledge.Fluent English; Italian preferred.Willingness to travel extensively.
