This is a new-business hunting role, you'll build a pipeline from scratch, win new listings, and lay the foundations for a growing on-trade channel. You'll start with a London focus and expand nationally as the business and your account base grow.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prospect, pitch and win new on-trade accounts across hospitality: hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs.
- Build and manage a personal pipeline of target venues from first contact through to signed listing.
- Negotiate listings, pricing and initial stocking orders in line with commercial guidelines.
- Work with key wholesalers to target key end accounts and create pull sales.
- Represent PRESS Healthfoods at trade shows, tastings and hospitality industry events.
- Feed market and competitor intelligence back to the wider team to shape range and pricing decisions.
- Hit agreed new account and volume targets, tracked via CRM and monthly pipeline reviews.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–4 years' sales experience in the on-trade / hospitality channel (food, drink, or related FMCG).
- A genuine new business hunter, comfortable with cold outreach and door to door prospecting, not just account management.
- Existing relationships or working knowledge of the London hospitality scene. A well-connected black book is a strong plus.
- Confident negotiator, resilient in the face of rejection, and self-motivated to work without daily supervision.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, with travel expanding beyond London over time.
- Genuine interest in health, food and wellness brands is a plus but not essential.
