Role Description The Director at SSCSE will provide strategic and academic leadership for the school, overseeing curriculum development, research initiatives, and quality of teaching in CSE and CSA programs. Responsibilities include managing faculty recruitment and performance, fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic culture, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. The Director will develop and maintain industry and international partnerships, support grant proposals, and promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and student success. Day-to-day tasks also involve budget oversight, resource planning, mentoring faculty and staff, and representing SSCSE in university committees and external forums. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dadri.QualificationsAdvanced academic qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field (PhD preferred), with a strong record of teaching and research.Proven experience in academic administration or leadership roles, such as Head of Department, Program Chair, or Dean-level responsibilities.Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and continuously improve curricula in CSE and CSA aligned with emerging technologies and industry needs.Experience leading research groups, supervising postgraduate students, and securing research funding or industry-sponsored projects.Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management within an academic or research environment.Ability to build and sustain partnerships with industry, research organizations, and international institutions to enhance academic and career opportunities.Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and a supportive environment for diverse faculty, staff, and students.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the capacity to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with accreditation processes, quality assurance frameworks, and higher education regulations.Exposure to global education practices, digital learning tools, and modern pedagogical approaches is highly beneficial.
