This diversity gives our team an edge — providing multiple sales channels, varied buyer profiles, and year-round opportunities, helping you succeed regardless of market fluctuations.We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can drive growth, build strong industry relationships, and open new opportunities in the wholesale and channel building space.Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, week day role, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the business including prospecting, networking, and managing a sales pipeline. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with prospective and existing clients, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations. The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, contribute to sales and marketing strategies, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide regular reporting on performance and growth initiatives. Collaboration with senior leadership to refine value propositions and support brand positioning within the market is critical to the role.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within property, construction, or related industries.Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships.Ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and identify opportunities that align with company strategy and growth objectives.Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent) for pipeline management and reporting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing proposals, presentations, and professional correspondence.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.Understanding of property development, residential construction processes, and project marketing principles is highly beneficial.Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, demonstrating initiative and accountability.Valid work rights in Australia and availability to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
