This position plays a critical role in expanding awareness, access, and utilization of behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, developmental disabilities, and medical adult day services throughout Kent County. If you are passionate about community engagement, healthcare marketing, strategic partnerships, and improving public health outcomes, we encourage you to apply.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, schools, governmental agencies, advocacy groups, social service organizations, and community partners. Coordinate community outreach activities, educational programs, presentations, health fairs, and public awareness campaigns. Represent the Health Department at meetings, conferences, networking events, and community forums. Conduct community needs assessments, service utilization reviews, and market analyses to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Assist leadership with program planning, service development, and expansion initiatives. Develop marketing strategies and communication materials that increase awareness of available services. Provide consultation and technical assistance to referral sources and community stakeholders. Manage outreach and community engagement budgets, monitor expenditures, and assist with grant and funding initiatives. Preferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare marketing, business development, public health, healthcare administration, community relations, or related fields.Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.Experience building partnerships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication platforms.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
