Built for Africa and designed for scale, JusticeSure is starting from Nigeria and expanding globally.Role Description The Business Development Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promoting JusticeSure’s platform to drive adoption among SMEs and growing enterprises. The Business Development Officer will conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and develop targeted proposals and presentations to showcase the value of JusticeSure’s solutions. This position also includes coordinating product demonstrations, supporting contract negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The officer will track performance metrics, provide feedback to improve offerings, and represent JusticeSure at relevant events, meetings, and industry engagements.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a good understanding of Finance to interpret data, assess business performance, and support ROI-driven proposals.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage stakeholders, deliver presentations, and negotiate effectively.Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, respond to client needs, and maintain long-term relationships.Relevant experience in B2B sales or business development within technology, SaaS, or financial/operations platforms is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.Proficiency in CRM tools and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools) is advantageous.Knowledge of the Nigerian SME landscape and regulatory environment, along with the ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-growing startup, is a strong plus.
