Keep scrolling to see what this company has to offer.The Perks!Base salary of $65,000 to $80,000, based on experienceTotal compensation (OTE) of $85,000 to $100,000, with bonus/commission details discussed later in the interview process401(k) with company matchMedical and dental insurancePaid time off, sick leave, and paid holidaysGrowth potential into leadership or strategic partnerships rolesA Day in the Life of the Clinical Research Business Development RepresentativeAs the company's first dedicated Clinical Research Business Development Representative, you'll find and qualify new clinical trial business by building relationships with pharma and biotech sponsors, CROs, site networks, physicians, and research partners across the country. Your days will be spent researching target accounts, running outreach, setting up discovery meetings, and keeping HubSpot data clean. You'll work closely with BD leadership and clinical operations to move qualified opportunities through the pipeline. Your work directly fuels the company's growth and helps bring new treatments to patients who need them.Responsibilities include:Prospect and qualify new clinical trial opportunities with pharma and biotech sponsors, CROs, site networks, and research partners nationwideResearch and map target accounts and key decision makersRun outbound outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and industry eventsSchedule and support discovery meetings with sponsors and CROsMaintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data and activity in HubSpotCoordinate follow-up with business development and clinical operations teamsSupport feasibility efforts and move qualified opportunities through the pipelineRepresent the company at conferences, sponsor and CRO meetings, site visits, and industry eventsHandle confidential sponsor, patient, and company information with careRequirements and Qualifications:Business development experience specifically in clinical research is required3+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account development, with at least 2 years within clinical research, a CRO, a research site or site network, biotech, or pharmaProven track record in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and meeting and pipeline generation, with measurable personal resultsWorking knowledge of the clinical trial ecosystem, including sponsors, CROs, sites, investigators, feasibility, study startup, and the drug development lifecycleHands-on CRM experience with strong data hygiene habitsStrong written, verbal, presentation, and discovery skills, with credibility in front of clinical and executive stakeholdersAbility to work independently and manage your own pipelineHigh integrity with confidential and proprietary informationWillingness to travel for conferences, sponsor and CRO meetings, site visits, and industry eventsFlexibility to accommodate sponsor calls, CRO calls, and conferences outside core hours (9:00am to 4:00pm MT, Monday through Friday)About the Hiring Company:Our client is a multi-specialty clinical research organization that partners with pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs to run clinical trials in gastroenterology, endocrinology, infectious disease, cardiology, psychiatry, and hematology/blood cancer.
