The role supports market research, opportunity assessment, client relationship development, pipeline management, and the preparation of business proposals and presentations.The position works closely with cross-functional teams to convert business opportunities into actionable pipelines and commercial outcomes while supporting the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives and business development targets.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and growth plans.Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, emerging opportunities, and potential business risks.Monitor the aviation, aerospace, defense, and military sectors to identify relevant business opportunities and market developments.Develop and maintain a business opportunity pipeline, ensuring opportunities are properly tracked, assessed, and followed up.Support the preparation and development of proposals, bids, tenders, presentations, and business cases.Analyze customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to develop appropriate commercial and business solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.Support client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and business development activities.Prepare market intelligence, opportunity assessments, competitor analysis, and business development reports for management.Collaborate with Commercial, Pricing & Estimation, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and other relevant functions to develop competitive business opportunities.Assist in identifying potential strategic partnerships, alliances, and business development channels.Maintain accurate records of opportunities, customer information, activities, and pipeline status using relevant business systems and tools.Support the achievement of business development KPIs, revenue targets, and market expansion objectives.Monitor the progress of business opportunities from initial identification through proposal submission and award.Provide regular updates to management on pipeline development, market opportunities, customer engagement, and potential risks.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.Additional qualifications or certifications in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Management, or Project Management are an advantage.Strong business acumen with the ability to understand commercial opportunities and customer requirements.Strong analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with CRM/SRM systems, business development tools, and reporting platforms is preferred.Experience1–3 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Account Management, or a related field.Experience in the Aviation, Aerospace, Defense, or Military industry is highly preferred.Demonstrated understanding of business development processes, market analysis, opportunity identification, and proposal development.Experience working with customers, partners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.Experience using Microsoft Office, SRM/CRM systems, and other business development tools.Proven ability to analyze information, identify opportunities, and support commercial decision-making.
