Its work is grounded in ethical business practices, trust, and long-term customer relationships.Role Description & Overview: The Business Development Specialist – Local Logistics is a full-time hybrid role based in Jubail, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role focuses on identifying and developing local logistics business opportunities to support ICMS’s industrial contracting and services portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching the local logistics market, building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and transport partners, and preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for new and existing customers. The specialist will coordinate closely with operations, procurement, and project teams to design efficient logistics solutions, negotiate commercial terms, and support contract execution. The role also includes monitoring key performance indicators, tracking market trends, and providing regular reports and forecasts to management to drive sustainable growth in the logistics segment.Key Responsibilities:Client Acquisition: Hunt and secure high-volume local accounts for inland freight, warehousing, and logistics services across major cities in Saudi Arabia.Estimation & Planning: Lead RFQ responses, negotiate commercial rates, and draft Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Vendor Registrations: Secure company qualifications on major local corporate and government procurement portals.Account Onboarding: Bridge the gap between contract signing and operational execution to ensure seamless customer service setup.Candidate Requirements:Experience: 10+ years of proven logistics sales/BD experience strictly within the KSA industrial sector.Local Network: An active, verified portfolio of local manufacturing, industrial, and/or retail B2B clients.Regulations: Strong understanding of KSA Govt. regulations, customs procedures, and the Bayan/SABER portals.Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, valid KSA driving license, and fluency in English (Arabic bilingual is a major plus).Qualification:Strong skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue.Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination, preferably within industrial, construction, or oil & gas sectors.Competence in market research, data analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking.Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Jubail, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.Knowledge of local Saudi industrial markets, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards related to logistics operations.Proficiency with MS Office and common business productivity tools.
