The organization operates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the ASAS Training Institute (ATI) and in the Kingdom of Bahrain through the ASAS Vocational Training Centre (AVTC), supporting the development of both current and future workforces.Role Description The Business Development Specialist – Oil and Gas Training is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our oil & gas training business within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, promoting technical and safety training solutions, and expanding our portfolio of Aramco-approved and industry-recognized training programs.This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in business development, client engagement, and training services within the oil & gas, energy, drilling, industrial, or workforce development sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities across the oil & gas, energy, drilling, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.Promote and market the organization's technical, safety, leadership, and competency-based training solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders including Training Managers, HR Leaders, HSE Managers, Operations Teams, and Procurement Departments.Conduct client meetings, presentations, and training needs assessments.Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.Support tender submissions and contract acquisition activities.Collaborate with internal training and operations teams to develop customized learning solutions for clients.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging workforce development needs.Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure achievement of business growth targets.Represent the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Engineering, or a related discipline.Professional certifications in business development, sales, or marketing are an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or client relationship management.Experience within the oil & gas, industrial services, training, education, or workforce development sectors is highly preferred.Experience working with Saudi Aramco contractors, training providers, drilling contractors, or oilfield service companies is an advantage.Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, and achieve sales targets.Knowledge and SkillsStrong understanding of the Saudi oil & gas industry and workforce development requirements.Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to develop proposals and deliver client-focused solutions.Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities.Commercial awareness and business acumen.Fluency in English and Arabic is required.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive basic salaryAttractive commission structurePerformance-based incentivesProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesOpportunity to work with leading organizations within the oil & gas and energy sectorsHow to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their CV highlighting their business development experience, industry network, and exposure to technical and safety training solutions within the oil & gas sector.
