Business Executive– Office of the Managing DirectorLocation: Riyadh, KSA Company: JAM Event Services Reports To: Managing Director Employment Type: Full-TimeRole OverviewJAM Event Services is looking for a highly organised, commercially minded, and proactive Business Executive to work directly alongside the Managing Director in developing business development opportunities.This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role combining executive support, business development, client relationship management and internal coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director across existing accounts, new business opportunities, strategic meetings, and internal initiatives, ensuring that decisions are translated into clear actions.Key Responsibilities 1. Existing Client ManagementSupport the Managing Director in maintaining and developing key client relationships. Follow up with existing clients after meetings, proposals, projects, and business discussions. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell JAM's staffing, recruitment, safety, training, and other services. Maintain regular communication with key accounts and ensure opportunities are not lost due to lack of follow-up. Track client requirements, proposals, quotations, and outstanding decisions. Work closely with Account Directors and operational teams to ensure client commitments are delivered. 2. Business DevelopmentSupport the Managing Director in identifying and developing new business opportunities. Research potential clients, agencies, event organisers, government entities, and strategic partners. Conduct outreach to prospective clients and arrange introductory meetings. Attend business development meetings and support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and pitches. Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects and opportunities. Follow up consistently with prospects following meetings and proposals. Monitor the progress of opportunities and ensure next steps are clearly defined. Support the Managing Director in developing long-term strategic partnerships. 3. Meetings & Business CoordinationAttend internal and external meetings with the Managing Director. Prepare meeting agendas and relevant materials where required. Research clients, projects, and opportunities ahead of meetings. Ensure the Managing Director is fully briefed before important meetings. Prepare follow-up communications after meetings. Coordinate with different departments to ensure decisions are implemented. 4. Strategic ProjectsSupport the Managing Director on strategic business initiatives and special projects. Conduct research and prepare reports, presentations, and business cases. Support the Managing Director in implementing new processes, systems, and business initiatives. Candidate ProfileWe are looking for someone who is:Highly organised.Commercially aware and interested in business development. Confident communicating with senior clients and stakeholders. Proactive rather than reactive. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced events environment. A strong communicator and relationship builder. Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. Discreet and trustworthy with confidential business information. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Events, Marketing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business management, account management, business development, executive support, consulting, or a similar role. Experience working directly with senior executives or Managing Directors is highly desirable. Experience within the events, hospitality, staffing, recruitment, or professional services industry is an advantage. Proven experience managing clients and developing new business. Experience using Monday.com or similar project/task management platforms is highly desirable. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Key Performance IndicatorsSuccess in this role will be measured by:Completion rate of Managing Director action points. Timeliness and accuracy of meeting follow-ups. Growth and retention of existing client relationships. Number and quality of new business opportunities generated. Conversion of BD opportunities into meetings, proposals, and contracts. Quality of communication with clients and stakeholders. The Ideal CandidateWe are not looking for someone to simply take notes in meetings.We are looking for someone who listens, understands the business, remembers what was agreed, puts it into Monday.com, follows up with everyone involved, and makes sure it actually happens.
