Our group operates in 84 countries across all continents.You will contribute to developing knowledge of Shoppers and of our categories in the countries where we operate, to monitoring our performance trends and proposing recommendations.Your role You are part of our Global Strategy, Sales & Marketing Expertise department and are responsible for Market and Competitive Intelligence globally. You will report to our Global Data & Business Insight Director.As a key member of the project team, you work directly with our panel suppliers (NIQ, Circana, Numerator, YouGov), briefing them on our strategic business questions, challenging them on their methodology and costs, and coordinating them throughout the analysis process. You manage and provide actionable analysis & forward-looking insights to support our growth, by leveraging all sources of syndicated data and driving analytics projects. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the FMCG.You disseminate insights internally via various media (newsletters, internal webinars, etc.) to enhance understanding of FMCG products, our categories or adjacent categories, innovations, our targets, channels ...Lastly, you will interact with internal Lactalis Marketing and Sales stakeholders (local and global Marketing, Sales, CMI, Media).Location This position is a permanent contract and is based in Paris (Montparnasse) with 1-work-from-home day a week.What will make you successful ?Thanks to your expertise in Panels, your sensitivity to Sales and Marketing issues, your ability to listen, your ease in communicating and analysing the needs of your internal contacts, you will quickly establish yourself as a genuine internal consultant.You are organised, have good communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy negotiating with external service providers.What skills are required ? You have at 4-5-year-experience minimum in a Retail Panel agency (NIQ, Circana), or in a Business Analyst position within a FMCG manufacturer. An experience in an international context would be appreciated.Fluent in French and English.Leadership and influential skills.Dynamic and proactive to push projects and ensure that they are completed on time.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Capacity to connect the dots from different sources (NIQ, Circana, YouGov, Numerator, GlobalData, Mintel, trends and multiple research studies) in order to create a compelling story-telling decks to inform business decisions on shoppers/categories/channels (including Out-of-Home and eCommerce).Ability to be part of a team, and to work in a multi-functional networking environment, open-minded, and able to adapt to foreign working cultures.Join us and live a unique experience !
