Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and business-focused Business Intelligence Analyst to support strategic decision-making through data analysis, business reporting, dashboard development, and performance measurement. This role is responsible for transforming complex business data into meaningful insights that enable operational excellence, improve business performance, and support long-term organizational growth.The Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, sales, marketing, customer service, product management, and technology to understand business objectives and develop scalable reporting solutions. Responsibilities include collecting, validating, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple internal and external sources while ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and readily available for business users.The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, executive reports, scorecards, and performance metrics that provide real-time visibility into business operations. The Business Intelligence Analyst will identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate operational performance, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic planning, resource allocation, and business optimization.Additional responsibilities include performing data modeling, business process analysis, forecasting support, customer and sales performance analysis, financial trend evaluation, and operational reporting. The position will assist stakeholders in defining reporting requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and implementing scalable business intelligence solutions that improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility.The Business Intelligence Analyst will support enterprise reporting initiatives by developing automated reporting processes, improving data governance standards, maintaining documentation, validating data quality, and optimizing data workflows. The role also involves collaborating with technical teams to improve database structures, integrate new data sources, and ensure reliable data availability for analytical applications.The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes, automate manual workflows, enhance data visualization, and promote a data-driven culture throughout the organization. This role requires exceptional analytical thinking, critical reasoning, communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable business recommendations.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, data analytics methodologies, reporting frameworks, and performance measurement principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, data modeling, and analytical reporting.Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, querying, transformation, optimization, and database management.Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Qlik Sense, or similar reporting tools.Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.Ability to collect, clean, validate, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple business systems.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, operational performance measurement, and business reporting best practices.Familiarity with relational databases, cloud-based data platforms, and enterprise reporting environments.Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation is beneficial.Understanding of forecasting methods, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and business modeling techniques is an advantage.Ability to create interactive dashboards, executive presentations, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple analytical projects and meet deadlines.High attention to detail with a commitment to data quality, consistency, governance, and reporting accuracy.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.Understanding of data privacy, information security, and data governance principles.Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend process improvements and support business transformation initiatives.Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and leveraging business intelligence technologies to support informed decision-making and sustainable organizational growth.
