Working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Concessions and Senior Leadership, you'll help define the company's future data strategy while creating a trusted single source of business intelligence.This is far more than a traditional reporting role. You'll combine technical expertise with commercial thinking to identify opportunities, solve business challenges and empower users through scalable self-service reporting using Microsoft Power BI and Azure technologies.THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE
- Designing and developing enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports
- Building scalable semantic data models and reusable datasets
- Creating intuitive self-service reporting solutions for business users
- Developing and maintaining Azure-based data pipelines and ETL processes
- Designing scalable Azure data architecture
- Optimising SQL queries and database performance
- Improving data quality, governance and documentation
- Translating business questions into analytical solutions that influence strategic decision making
- Identifying commercial opportunities through insightful data analysis
- Supporting pricing, forecasting and business growth modelling
- Gathering reporting requirements and recommending innovative BI solutions
- Training and supporting business users to maximise self-service reporting
- Championing data literacy across the organisation
- Evaluating emerging technologies including Microsoft Fabric and AI to support the future BI strategy
- Driving continuous improvement by automating manual reporting processesSKILLS
- Advanced Power BI development experience
- Strong SQL and database optimisation skills
- Experience designing robust data models
- Excellent knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
- Experience developing ETL processes
- Strong understanding of Azure data services
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent understanding of data governance and data quality
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to challenge assumptions using data
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to translate complex analysis into practical business recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly organised with a proactive, self-starting approach
