The consultant will work with clients to understand business requirements, translate them into BI and analytics solutions, and design data models, dashboards, and reports that support strategic and operational decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data, implementing and optimizing ETL processes, maintaining data warehouses, and ensuring data integrity and performance. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to define key metrics, delivering clear visualizations, providing user training and documentation, and continuously improving BI solutions based on feedback and evolving needs. The consultant is expected to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with client goals.Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insightsExperience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools to integrate and prepare dataProficiency in designing and building dashboards and data visualizations using modern BI platformsKnowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices for structuring data for reporting and analysisHands-on experience with data warehousing concepts, architectures, and performance optimizationAbility to work on-site in Geelong, VIC and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience with SQL and at least one major BI/analytics platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) is highly beneficialBackground in consulting, professional services, or client-facing project work is an advantage
