Apply & track with Apply EdgeMarket Intelligence ManagerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Market Intelligence Manager to lead market research, competitive intelligence, data analysis, and strategic insights that support the organisation’s growth.This role will act as the organisation’s market sensing and insight engine, helping leadership make informed, data-driven decisions across programme development, marketing strategy, enrolment planning, and institutional expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research & IntelligenceConduct research on education trends, student demand, competitor programmes, pricing, and industry developments.Analyse demographic, economic, and education-sector data to identify market opportunities.Monitor competitor positioning, programme offerings, pricing strategies, and market movements.Prepare market intelligence reports and insights for senior management.Strategic Analysis & InsightsTranslate research findings and data into practical business recommendations.Identify emerging opportunities across programmes, delivery models, student segments, and new markets.Provide market intelligence to support strategic planning and new programme proposals.Support management with evidence-based insights for key business decisions.Institutional & Enrolment PlanningCollaborate with Academic, Marketing, Business Development, Admissions, Finance, and Strategy teams.Provide market validation for new academic programmes and expansion initiatives.Support enrolment planning through analysis of market trends, student behaviour, and demand patterns.Data Interpretation & ReportingDevelop dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive summaries for leadership review.Present market findings clearly and translate complex data into actionable insights.Maintain and organise a central repository of market research and intelligence.Resource OptimisationPlan and manage market research activities within approved budgets.Prioritise research initiatives based on strategic value and business impact.Leverage internal data, digital tools, and cross-functional resources to optimise research costs.Key Performance IndicatorsQuality and relevance of market intelligence reportsAccuracy and usefulness of insights supporting business decisionsTimeliness of research and reportingContribution to programme development and enrolment strategyEffectiveness of competitor and market trend monitoringEfficient utilisation of research resources and budgetRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field5–8 years of experience in market research, strategy, business intelligence, analytics, or a related functionExperience in the education sector is an advantageStrong experience in data analysis, market research, and report preparationStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent report writing and presentation skillsStrong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesHigh attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilitiesMaster’s Degree will be an added advantage.We’re looking for someone who is:Curious – naturally interested in market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry developmentsInsight-driven – able to go beyond data and identify what it means for the businessStrategic – able to connect market intelligence with organisational goalsPractical – able to turn research findings into actionable recommendationsCollaborative – comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple departmentsWhy Join Us?This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping programme development, enrolment strategy, marketing direction, and institutional growth through data-driven market intelligence.You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, with the opportunity to directly influence strategic business decisions.If you enjoy turning market data into meaningful business recommendations and have strong analytical and research capabilities, we’d love to hear from you.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with your updated CV.
