Business Operations & Strategy Lead (COO Track)

About the RoleWe are an early-stage medical technology company developing innovative healthcare products. Founded by professors from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), we are dedicated to commercializing research innovations developed at the university. We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial professional to manage essential business operations and drive strategic initiatives. This individual will work closely with the founders and have the opportunity to grow into an executive leadership role within the company.Key Responsibilities·      Manage routine operations, including bookkeeping coordination, expenses, payroll, visa applications, corporate administration, and external service providers.Lead or coordinate the Hong Kong Government RAISe+ Scheme application, including business plans, budgets, commercialization plans, milestones, and supporting documents.Support fundraising by preparing pitch decks, business plans, financial projections, due-diligence materials, and investor communications.Develop product commercialization, marketing, sales, and business partnership opportunities.Coordinate with technical, clinical, quality, and external regulatory teams to support regulatory approvals for medical imaging products.Manage cross-functional projects, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and company priorities.Gradually take broader responsibility for company operations and strategic execution.Qualifications• BA/BS/MSc/MBA/MPhil in relevant fieldsUnderstand customers and the market, sales experience preferredSelf-motivated and willing to learn new knowledge and get involved in new fieldsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards is a plusPrevious experience in a startup or medical technology environment is a plusIf interested, please contact Zijian GAO zijiangao.mail@gmail.com for more details.
