Business Operations Associate | Tech Startup📍 Location: Remote, USA (Eastern Time working hours)💰 Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Equity💼 Type: Full-time🚀 The RoleOJ Digital is partnering with a fast-growing, well-funded legal technology startup that's transforming how consumers pursue justice against major corporations.We're looking for a proactive, tech-savvy Business Operations Associate to join a small, ambitious team and work directly alongside the Head of Operations.This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day operational delivery with process improvement, automation and AI-powered workflows. You'll take ownership of critical business processes, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and help build scalable operations as the company grows.It's an excellent opportunity for someone early in their operations career who enjoys solving problems, building better systems and making a tangible impact.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operational workflows, including case intake, claim reviews, quality assurance and client communications.Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline operations.Develop and optimise automated workflows using technology and AI tools, including large language models (LLMs).Support client outreach, marketing initiatives and other cross-functional projects.Monitor operational performance, maintain accuracy and ensure processes run efficiently.Work closely with the Head of Operations to develop scalable systems and support business growth.Take ownership of projects from identifying problems through to implementing solutions.What We're Looking For1–5 years of experience in business operations, operations associate roles or a closely related function.Strong, demonstrable experience in process improvement and automation.A practical, analytical approach to identifying problems and developing efficient solutions.Comfortable working with technology and exploring new tools, including AI and automation platforms.Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.A proactive, resourceful mindset with the confidence to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.Ability to work Eastern Time business hours.💰 PackageBase salary: $80,000–$100,000.Equity: Competitive equity package.Remote working: US-based, with Eastern Time working hours.Career development: Direct mentorship from the Head of Operations and opportunities for rapid progression.Meaningful work: Contribute to a mission-driven business helping consumers challenge major corporations.High ownership: Genuine responsibility and the opportunity to shape operational processes from an early stage.If you're an ambitious operations professional who enjoys using technology to solve problems, improve processes and build scalable systems, we'd love to hear from you.
