Someone who genuinely enjoys the business side of building a brand, from managing budgets and leading teams to organizing calendars, improving processes, and making decisions that support long-term growth.Experience across both smaller and larger organizations is particularly valuable to me. I'm interested in someone who has seen how established businesses operate but also understands what it takes to build structure within a smaller, growing company. Someone resourceful, financially disciplined, and comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for direction.Above all, I'm looking for someone who takes pride in bringing people, numbers, and operations together. Someone who enjoys solving problems and creating structures, believes in what we're building, and wants to play a meaningful role in where we take Gaui next.This is a hands-on leadership position based in Miami, working directly with me across business operations, financial oversight, team management, and company growth.The RoleWorking closely with the Founder and Brand Director, the Business Operations Manager will oversee Gaui's daily business operations, ensuring that teams, resources, and internal processes are organized, efficient, and aligned with company objectives.The role connects financial oversight with operational execution. This includes monitoring expenses, supporting budgets, reviewing operational performance, managing resources, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.An important part of this position is managing people and accountability. The Business Operations Manager will help establish clear responsibilities, coordinate priorities across departments, and ensure that projects and daily operations move forward effectively.The position is both strategic and hands-on. It requires someone who can understand the broader business while remaining closely involved in daily decisions, problem-solving, and execution.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations + ManagementOversee day-to-day business operations across inventory, logistics, fulfillment, customer service, finance, and internal workflowsWork directly with the Founder to establish business priorities, execute company objectives, and support sustainable growthManage daily operational activities, ensuring all departments remain organized, efficient, and accountableDevelop and maintain company-wide operating procedures, internal systems, and organizational standardsManage operational resources, business expenses, and internal priorities to support profitabilityCoordinate internal communication between finance, marketing, e-commerce, product, and fulfillment teamsOversee external vendors, operational partners, service providers, and contract negotiationsSupport the development and execution of short-term and long-term business plansFinancial Oversight + Budget ManagementOversee company budgets, operating expenses, and departmental spendingMonitor cash flow, financial commitments, and business performanceReview recurring expenses, vendor invoices, subscriptions, and operational expendituresEstablish clear financial reporting systems that provide leadership with visibility into revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash requirementsSupport cash flow planning, payment scheduling, and prioritization of financial obligationsMonitor departmental budgets and ensure spending remains aligned with company objectivesAnalyze business performance and prepare financial and operational reports for leadershipSupport financial forecasting, annual planning, and budget and ownershipFulfillment + Inventory + LogisticsOversee warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping performanceManage fulfillment team performance, productivity, scheduling, and daily order-processing requirementsMonitor order accuracy, shipping timelines, fulfillment costs, and operational efficiencyEnsure customer orders are processed accurately and within established service standardsMonitor inventory accuracy, stock availability, receiving, transfers, and inventory adjustmentsCoordinate incoming shipments, product deliveries, and warehouse receiving schedulesOversee relationships with shipping carriers, logistics providers, and warehouse vendorsDevelop processes to reduce fulfillment errors, shipping costs, inventory discrepancies, and operational delaysEstablish and monitor fulfillment KPIs, including processing times, order accuracy, labor efficiency, and return volumesEnsure warehouse organization, safety, and operational standards are consistently maintainedPlanning + Calendars + Internal CommunicationManage and maintain the company's master operational calendar, including deadlines, meetings, launches, and key business activitiesCoordinate departmental calendars to ensure operational readiness for product launches, campaigns, and company initiativesSchedule, organize, and conduct weekly operational meetings and departmental check-insPrepare meeting agendas, document key decisions, assign action items, and follow up on executionMaintain visibility into ongoing projects, upcoming deadlines, and department accountabilityCoordinate business planning meetings and periodic performance reviews with the Founder and leadership teamQualifications + Skills5+ years of experience in business operations, operations management, general management, or a related leadership positionExperience within a growing fashion, retail, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer businessProven experience overseeing daily operations and managing cross-functional teamsStrong financial understanding, including budgeting, expense management, cost analysis, and operational performance trackingExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and business data and translate findings into decisionsExperience developing processes, operational systems, reporting structures, and performance indicatorsStrong project and program management capabilitiesExperience managing inventory, logistics, fulfillment, and customer service operationsStrong understanding of business profitability,
