What is the position?The Business Process Analyst (BPA) supports organizational transformation by evaluating business operations, improving workflows, and helping strategic initiatives move from planning through implementation. This role combines process improvement, performance monitoring, project coordination, change management, and stakeholder engagement to drive efficient and sustainable operational improvements.What are the responsibilities?As a Business Process Analyst, you will:Assess business processes using stakeholder input, workflow evaluation, data analysis, gap assessments, and root cause techniques.Design current- and future-state workflows and create supporting materials such as SOPs, business requirements, implementation documents, and executive reports.Use Lean Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies to uncover inefficiencies, eliminate unnecessary steps, and recommend practical operational enhancements.Coordinate strategic initiatives by maintaining project plans, milestones, deliverables, action items, risks, and performance measures.Build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that provide leadership with visibility into initiative performance and outcomes.Evaluate proposed operational changes through feasibility, risk, and optimization analysis before implementation.Facilitate meetings, workshops, and cross-functional discussions while communicating recommendations and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Assist with change adoption, stakeholder readiness, implementation activities, and long-term sustainability of approved improvements.What are the requirements?Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred3-5 years of business analyst experience, with experience in government, healthcare, finance, regulatory, or other service-oriented environments preferredLean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or comparable professional certification or training preferredBackground in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a closely related disciplineExperience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational change, or large-scale improvement programsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience translating complex findings into actionable recommendationsDemonstrated ability to develop process maps, SOPs, dashboards, executive reports, performance measures, or implementation materialsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; familiarity with Power BI or comparable reporting platforms is beneficialStrong written and verbal communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder-management skillsYou would be really happy here if:Roadblocks don’t intimidate you.
