Business Process Automation & Executive Reporting Lead

A leading real estate development organisation in Dubai is seeking a Business Process Automation & Executive Reporting Lead to work directly with the CEO.The role will identify opportunities to automate reporting and business processes across multiple complex verticals. The successful candidate will understand how these functions interact, identify manual or fragmented workflows, and develop practical solutions that integrate with existing systems and applications.This is not a traditional Data Analyst or full-time Software Developer position. We are looking for someone who can understand business problems, translate them into technical requirements and personally develop automation solutions using coding, APIs and workflow tools.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate the CEO’s reporting and automation requirements into practical solutions.Review construction, procurement and reporting workflows to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.Develop scripts, workflows and system integrations that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.Automate data collection, validation, consolidation and executive reporting.Develop solutions that complement existing systems rather than creating unnecessary standalone applications.Work with IT and software development teams where more complex development is required.Measure improvements in efficiency, visibility, accuracy and processing time.What We Are Looking ForExperience in business process automation, workflow optimisation or reporting transformation.Practical coding experience using Python, SQL or comparable technologies.Experience working with APIs, databases and application integrations.Familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query and DAX would be advantageous.Strong understanding of construction and procurement processes and the dependencies between them.Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and construction or project-management platforms.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.Experience within real estate development, construction, engineering or another project-led organisation.This is an individual contributor role requiring someone who is equally comfortable discussing priorities with the CEO, understanding operational challenges and developing the practical solutions needed to address them.Due to the confidential nature of the appointment, further information will be shared with suitably qualified candidates during the selection process.
