Business Reporting & Data Analyst

Responsibilities:Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports to support business performance monitoring and management review.Compile information from various business functions and ensure that reporting data is complete and reliable.Review operational and financial results to identify trends, unusual movements and areas requiring attention.Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve missing information or discrepancies found during data review.Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.Keep existing dashboards, reporting templates and data sources updated and properly maintained.Explore opportunities to streamline manual reporting activities and improve data consolidation processes.Translate business needs into clear requirements for system improvements and reporting enhancements.Work with the IT team to track system-related requests, issues and enhancement progress.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify that system changes meet business requirements.Prepare and maintain relevant materials such as process documentation, test cases, testing records and user instructions.Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, IT and other stakeholders on reporting and system-related matters.Assist with presentation materials, management updates and business analysis when required.Maintain organized records for reports, testing activities, enhancement requests and follow-up items.Provide additional analytical and reporting support as assigned.RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or a related discipline.2 years of relevant exposure in reporting, data analytics or system supportGood proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, lookup functions, charts and data consolidation.Familiarity with Power BI, including dashboard creation, data visualization and basic data modelling.Exposure to UAT, business requirements gathering or system enhancement projects will be advantageous.Able to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.Comfortable coordinating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage reporting timelines and data accuracy.Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please send in your resume to gs1@talenttradersg.comEA License No: 13C6305Reg.
