To learn more, visit comenear.org.Please Note: Candidates for this role are required to sign the organization’s Statement of Faith, which closely aligns with Come Near’s mission-driven focus of inviting all people one step closer to the authentic Jesus from wherever they are.POSITION SUMMARYThe Business Reporting Data Analyst will help the team create, manage, and maintain reports and dashboards, support meeting follow-ups, create and track tickets, respond to ad hoc data requests, and assist with recurring data audits and operational analytics work. This role is best suited for someone with 3–5 years of experience who is comfortable working with business stakeholders, organizing requests, validating data, and helping the team move work forward.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCreate, update, and maintain business reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.Help manage reporting requests, including gathering requirements, documenting needs, and tracking status.Attend meetings, capture action items, and create follow-up tickets or tasks as needed.Support ticket creation, triage, updates, and coordination across analytics, business, and operations teams.Respond to ad hoc data requests by pulling, validating, and summarizing data for stakeholders.Assist with recurring data audits, quality checks, reconciliations, and basic investigation of data discrepancies.Help maintain documentation for reports, metrics, business definitions, and request workflows.Perform operational and administrative analytics support work as needed to help the team stay organized and effective.Partner with team members on miscellaneous reporting, data cleanup, and other support tasks as priorities change.COMPETENCIESBasic SQL skills for querying, filtering, joining, and validating data.Experience with ticketing or project tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar systems.Familiarity with data QA, audit processes, and recurring reporting operations.Ability to organize competing requests and keep stakeholders updated on progress.Comfortable doing hands-on support work, including documentation, follow-ups, reporting maintenance, and other team needs.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE3–5+ years of experience in a business analyst, reporting analyst, data analyst, or similar roleExperience creating and maintaining reports or dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platformsComfortable working with SQL or structured data to answer business questions and validate resultsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, data quality issues, or reporting gaps.Experience documenting requirements, creating tickets, and managing follow-up items from stakeholder meetingsAbility to work with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESA personal relationship with Jesus and a passion for Come Near’s missionA heart for service, humility, and collaborative leadershipAn initiative-taking, meticulous approach to planning and executionBENEFITSCompetitive base salary ($55K - $75K)Annual performance bonus (based on organizational performance)80% employer-paid health and wellness coverage403(b) retirement plan with 7% employer matchVery generous PTOThree annual company rest weeks (one week around July 4th, and two weeks during Christmas and New Years)Flourishing Fund stipendEducation Reimbursement stipend annuallyMuch more!So, if you're interested in joining a faith-based start-up that is truly generating disruptive content, and has a mission and a vision to see lives changed, apply today!
