Your work here shapes how millions of customers shop every day.Job Summary:The Business Solution Analyst is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring that digital transformation initiatives are fundamentally grounded in efficient, scalable, and business-aligned processes. Acting as the primary strategic bridge between technical delivery and core business operations, this role ensures that every system capability is designed to meet specific business goals and operational realities.You will lead a team of Business Analysts to drive cross-functional alignment, ensuring that new solutions are not just technically sound, but are seamlessly adopted by business units across multiple countries and store formats.

Responsibilities

Strategic Business AlignmentLead "To-Be" Process Design: Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business units to map current ("as-is") procurement, supply chain and finance practices, identify bottlenecks, and strategically design optimized, future-state ("to-be") digital workflows.Translating Goals to Features: Act as the lead architect for process logic, translating high-level business goals into functional requirements that technical teams can execute.Value-Focused Prioritisation: Partner with business heads to identify high-value optimisation opportunities and prioritise them based on measurable business impact and operational readiness.Stakeholder AlignmentCross-Functional Partnership: Build and maintain deep effective partnerships across IT, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure process designs are holistic and supported by all departments,.Driving Consensus: Proactively manage competing requirements from different business owners, driving decisions to closure even when goals are ambiguous or conflicting.Influencing without Authority: Build trust and secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders to ensure successful transition to new ways of working without direct hierarchical control over those units.Delivery & Lifecycle ManagementBridging Business & Tech: Ensure technical teams fully understand the operational context of the solutions they build and are willing to adopt, preventing a "technical-only" go-liveRequirement Documentation: Develop the to-be process documentation and formal Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)Integration Mapping: Work with a technical team in defining how data flows between the in-house built core systems, external vendor modules, and legacy retail ERPs.Business Acceptance Testing: Define success criteria from a business user’s perspective. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) among the key business users to ensure the technical solution genuinely solves the stakeholders' operational realities.Change Management & Adoption StrategyBusiness Readiness Assessment: Partner with Change Management teams to ensure the digital transition is smooth. Anticipate user resistance, design the change management approach and interim process workarounds to ensure user adoptionAdvocacy & Feedback Loops: Serve as the "voice of the user" within the technical team and the "voice of the product" within the business. Establish continuous feedback loops post-launch to iteratively improve the platform.Team Leadership & Capability BuildingTeam Mentorship: Lead and grow a high-performing team of Business Analysts, fostering a culture of operational empathy and accountability.Standardisation: Establish best-in-class methodologies for requirement gathering and process mapping to ensure a consistent approach across the Digital Transformation portfolio

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.8 to 10 years total professional experience, with at least 3 years in a lead, managerial, or senior consultative role.Solid knowledge of procurement, supply chain and retail operation processesExperience in designing and implementing transformation initiatives for Master Data Management (MDM), Procurement, and Logistics/Supply Chain operations.Familiarity with enterprise system landscapes and an understanding of how business processes, applications, and technology platforms integrate across the organization.Proven track record in managing competing business requirements from different business users and aligning these towards a common business outcomeExcellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skillsExperience in management or technology consulting practices is a plusExperience in a multicoutry retail organisation is a plusAble to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese
