The school culture is grounded in values such as tolerance, care, honesty, respect, resilience, and integrity.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Studies & Economics Teacher for the British curriculum based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates (Branch 4, Al Manhal Area). The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics aligned with the school’s curricula and learning outcomes. Daily responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, contributing to departmental initiatives, and participating in school events and extracurricular activities. The teacher is expected to support ICS’s mission and values by fostering a safe, inclusive, and challenging classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and global awareness.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong subject-matter expertise in Business Studies and Economics.Candidates should possess effective Teaching and Education skills, with a learner-centered approach.Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning skills to design structured, outcomes-based lessons.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field; teaching qualification or certification is preferred.Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at high school level, ideally in international or bilingual settings.Ability to use educational technology to enhance teaching, assessment, and classroom engagement.Strong classroom management, communication, and intercultural skills, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.Willingness to contribute to school-wide initiatives, professional development, and co-curricular activities.
