Business Study Teacher

SPK Sekolah Pelita Bangsa is a prestigious Cambridge International School situated in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. We cater to students aged 2 to 18 years, offering comprehensive educational programs including Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, and Cambridge AS/A Level qualifications.We have a vacancy for Business Studies Teacher that will be responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered Business Studies lessons and committed to inspiring students to become confident, analytical, and responsible learners, we would be pleased to hear about developing a strong understanding of business concepts, analytical thinking, and real-world business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, effective, and student-centered Business Studies lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Curriculum standards.Develop lesson plans, learning resources, assessments, and activities that promote active learning and critical thinking.Teach key areas of Business Studies, including business organization, marketing, finance, operations, human resources, entrepreneurship, and related topics.Support students in developing analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive, and meaningful feedback.Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate support to meet individual learning needs.Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.Collaborate with colleagues and the academic team to support curriculum development and continuous improvement.Participate actively in school activities, professional development, and the wider school community.Maintain high professional standards and contribute positively to the school’s educational culture.Qualifications & Requirements :Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Management, Economics, or other related field.Previous teaching experience in Business Studies with the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred.Minimum work experience is 2 years.Fluent in English (written and oral) is mandatory.Strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills.Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
